Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Albany is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My wife, Sandi and I have been loyal customers of Designs-in-Silk for about 20 years or more and have always found their silk flower arrangements and custom framing to be of the best quality available in the Capital District and beyond! We also believe that their pricing for custom work is fair and extremely competitive. Susan and John are so very helpful and personable and a pleasure to do business with :-) Do yourself a favor and visit their lovely shop to see their fine product and custom work first-hand! I have had 5 or 6 different prints framed by Designs In Silk, I cannot say enough positive about this company. The customer service and pricing especially stand out. I had gotten quotes to get prints framed else where but no one can hold a candle to Designs In Silk. She is absolutely lovely and makes sure your frame is exactly what you are looking for. 10/10

I always buy my saddle arrangements for my parents headstone from here. You can't beat the quality of the arrangement for the price. Sometimes I ask for something special and they are always accommodating. Highly recommended!
